The electric vehicle market is buzzing with excitement as the Chinese MIIT reveals the upgraded Zeekr 007 GT and 007 EV, boasting an impressive power boost of up to 148 hp! But is this just a horsepower race, or is there more to these sleek sedans and station wagons?

The new Zeekr models showcase a significant upgrade in performance. The electric motors now pack a punch, with the RWD variant delivering a maximum power of 370 kW (496 hp), a substantial 80 hp increase. And here's where it gets thrilling: the AWD system incorporates an additional 288 hp electric motor, resulting in a mind-boggling combined power output of 784 hp! This is a 148 hp boost compared to the current models, making it a true powerhouse on the road.
But it's not just about power. The updated 007 GT maintains its elegant exterior, with subtle dimension adjustments, including a length of up to 4880 mm and a 2925 mm wheelbase. The 007, on the other hand, receives minor exterior tweaks, featuring added air vents and an optional carbon fiber kit for a sportier look. Both models sit on 19-inch or 20-inch rims, ensuring a stylish stance.
Market Positioning and Specifications:
Currently, the Zeekr 007 GT is available in three trims, offering CLTC cruising ranges from 585 km to 825 km and priced between 202,900 and 232,900 yuan (approximately 29,200 to 33,600 USD). The Zeekr 007, however, provides more options with four trims, cruising ranges up to 870 km, and prices starting from 209,900 yuan, reaching up to 299,900 yuan (around 30,300 to 43,200 USD).
And this is the part most people miss: the new Zeekr models also feature an upgraded 900V high-voltage architecture and the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip for advanced driving assistance. These additions enhance the overall driving experience, making the Zeekr 007 and 007 GT not just powerful but also technologically advanced.
